Chelmsford Stroke Exercise Group
About the Club
The group aims to help people recovering from a stroke to become more independent by maintaining mobility and increasing physical activity, in a friendly and safe environment. The group meets every Wednesday except the last of the month. The venue for meetings is now Widford village hall, Widford Rd, Chelmsford.
George Flaharty is a qualified instructor who has had a stroke himself so can relate to the problems caused by disablement.
The group gives members contact with other people in the same situation, keeps people motivated, helps people make friends and gives members a chance to have a laugh. The club welcomes new members and volunteers.
