About the Club

Do you live in the Rayleigh area? Would you like to know more about the town? If so, come along to our meetings!

We meet on the 4th Tuesday in the months of March, April, September, October and November from 8pm to 9.45pm.

We have guest speakers such as local policemen and artists and tea and coffee is provided.

We also arrange outings to towns of interest with a blue badge guide, transport is provided.

Club Aims

  • To encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity or of historical interest.
  • To pursue these ends by means of meetings, exhibitions, lectures, publications, forms of instruction and publicity and promotion of schemes of a charitable nature.
  • To encourage high standards of architecture and town planning in Rayleigh.
  • To encourage public interest in Rayleigh
  • To care for the beauty, history and character of the area of the town and its surroundings.
